🏛️Court of First Instance
Since the start of operations on 1 June 2023, the Court has received a total of 798 cases (98 new since the last update)
⚖️ Infringement actions and counterclaims
– 289 infringement actions are filed as follows:

– 285 counterclaims for revocation, coming from 160 individual infringement actions have been filed with the Court’s local and regional divisions.
⚖️ Revocation actions
There is a total of 57 stand-alone revocation actions filed to date with the Court. Paris central division has received 42 revocation actions, 8 revocation actions have been filed with Munich central division and 7 with Milan central division.
⚖️ Provisional measures
The Court of First Instance has received 79 applications for provisional measures, preserving evidence and orders for inspection.
🏛️ Court of Appeal
To date, the Court of Appeal has received:
58 appeals under RoP220.1 (litera a or b);
37 appeals under RoP220.1 litera c;
79 appeals under RoP220.2; and
3 appeals under RoP221.
The Court of Appeal has also received 15 requests for discretionary review, 18 applications for suspensive effect and 25 applications for an order for expedition of an appeal. Three applications for rehearing under RoP245 have also been filed.
